You need to check your video game history. Microsoft had a dispute with NVidia who were making the GPU. It was still costing MS money for every Xbox sold. The dispute meant the immediate EOL of the original Xbox once the 360 was launched. Now they use ATI and have managed to drop the price of the 360 substantially. Funnily enough the PS3 uses NVidia and they are having cost issues.

MS bought the chip designs used in the 360.. they own the rights to manufacture their own xenon/xenos..  so its cheaper than paying ATI/IBM to do the same. Secondly, SONY is bleeding money becoz of the blu ray. Nvidia dont have anything to do with it.



Doubt is not a pleasant condition, but certainty is absurd.

a. a AAA 3D sonic title

b. a nintendo developed game that has a "M rating"

c. redesgined PS controller

d. SEGA back in the console business

e. M$ out of the OS business
