Sony's Hot Shots series of casual sports games is expanding beyond the greens of Hot Shots Golf (Minna no Golf) and the courts of Hot Shots Tennis (Minna no Tennis). The company opened a teaser site today, promising a new PSP entry in the series, this time centered on an undisclosed event.

All that's known based off the teaser site is that the game will have the same "Minna no" branding of its golf and tennis counterparts. The site promises "the next" thing for the series to follow golf and tennis, so this probably won't be a sequel in those two branches.

Despite the apparent change of events, fans of the Hot Shots series should be pleased to learn that series' developer ClapHanz appears to be working on the title. The studio official site is linked to at the bottom of the page.

The clouds covering up the part of the name that comes after "Minna no" will clear up on July 3, but as always, news should leak out in advance through the usual sources.

Whatever the identity of the game, it appears to be a good ways into development. Sony promises a downloadable demo to arrive day-in with the announcement.
