ebgames in australia are selling ps3 + drake + gt5p (both platinum) for $688. I just don't think any ps3 bundles can be justified by the price tag....

but going on eBay could easily save you ~$10 - 15 per game even with shipping, so I wouldn't recommend buying any games at eb or target or any other stores (except jb maybe) unless they are running massive EOFY sales...

I'm going to HK next week for the first time since my graduation, and... will and definitely will get a PS3 and hopefully grab up some bargain 2nd hand game deals.

But the thing is... my house will be filled up with consoles and handhelds by then, LOL...

Well there's an inFamous demo up in the store. it's not half bad they give you like 40% of your powers and some of which you don't get till like 5 hours+ into the game... So it kinda feels like you're working for abilities you already had b4.

I'd personally go with the Infamous one. Paying $8 extra, to make sure that the store stocks future niche games would be worth it for me. And you're already paying $600+, another $8 on top of that is pretty much nothing (just a tad over 1%).

@Squil: if you can find me a way to play Uncharted, R&C and most especially VC on this fabled Microsoft machine you speak of (by Thursday) then I'm in.

I have the wired Mics for Singstar from my PS2 days, so will be waiting on the wireless mics for a bit. It's a bit of a pooh that stores have stopped selling Singstar with mics as a (slightly cheaper) package.

So these are my possible courses of action: Negotiate, or split my business. I'm such a pussy at negotiating, I might go for splitting my business. Or I might wuss out completely and just buy everything from JB HiFi (which is where VC is to be found).

I would get KZ2, only FPS is not a preferred genre for me. You can imagine my delight at PS3 coming out with a slew of FPS games early on, fortunately PS3 is more balanced now.
