Forums - Nintendo - What's the best first person shooter for the Wii?

MP3 isn't a FPS in my book as it doesn't have multi-player. Otherwise you could even call RE4 a FPS. I wouldn't consider Red Steel either for it's lack of online.

My order:
The Conduit
Call of Duty WAW
MOHH2

Not that The Conduit is that much above MOHH2, but I would put MOHH2 way above anything else not in the top 3 as anything else doesn't really meet the requirements of being a FPS.

So Mario Kart Wii is a FPS?

Funny I thought that MOHH2 was a FPS because it was in FIRST PERSON and IS A SHOOTER. And as far as I know, it has online.

True.  It has multiplayer but not online.

It's in the same genre as Red Steel.  Whatever genre that is.

I believe that would be the WJFPSSAA

The Western-Japanese-First-Person-Shooter-Sword-Action-Adventure.

Your requirements for a game being a FPS are way off.

Let's work out exactly what makes a FPS a FPS.

It has to be in the first person and you have to shoot everything in sight.  This is what a FPS is.

Well, I didn't list all the requirements...  Online Multiplayer is an extra requirement for me.  Note: I said: "In my book", in other words, in my opinion.  You are free to disagree.

Technically MP3 is a FPS, but it just doesn't measure up to one for me in the rankings.  :p  It's still a great game.

It sounds to me like the general consensus is that The Conduit is the best and Call of Duty: World at War is a close second. Does that sound about right to everyone?

(Yes, I left out Metroid Prime 3. I already own it, so I don't need to buy it again. :P)

Metroid Prime 3 if it counts.

Otherwise, I have to say the target game on Wii Play.

From what I've played, MP3 for single-player and CoD:WaW for Multi-player, I haven't played The Conduit yet.
