I trust this site more and it says simultaneous release for the 360 and PS3.
If it happened it be a hilarious F u to MS from Rockstar.
But just maybe you all need to stop overreacting to a simple mistake on a website.
Dodece is correct - you can't just break a contract, repay the money, and walk away. MS can sue for specific performance, compelling Take Two and Rockstar to honor the original contract, and probably monetary damages if the PS3 version went on sell before it was supposed to.

With regard to Call of Duty 4 having an ultra short single player campaign, I guess it may well have been due to the size limitations of DVD on the XBox 360, one of various limitations multi-platform game designers will have to take into consideration-Mike B

The plot thickens. Take 2's website has moved GTA IV back to an October release stating "coming to xbox 360, PS3"

Nope. Sony is then liable for all obligations formerly held by Rockstar.

Doesn't work that way Leo-J, it would just give MS a bigger company to sue.

That would be sold at a loss to some other developer. This rumor is about as probable as the moon turning purple. Only in a fevered fanboys imagination can such scenarios play out. Take 2 is not going to behave this idiotically for some fanboy ideal. Some posters should really be ashamed of themselves. You know better then to take the least likely scenario, and build speculation around it. Some of this speculation is not even based in reality at all. I am shocked one of you guys hasn't said and Jesus descended from heaven and told the people the PS3 was good. I am just shocked you guys have spun a incorrect listing into a full blown scenario of PS3 domination with a game pack in on a four hundred dollar console that has not even been confirmed yet. What exactly are you guys taking that makes this seem even possible. |
In order to make such a statement I am guessing you have the exact details of the contract between MS and take 2 and all the details of every meeting they have had since? Would you kindly share it with the rest of us?
