North America and Europe may get the new Monster Hunter game this week, but Japan, where the biggest base of the series’ fans exist, is getting a couple of nice PSP bundles, Sony Japan announced today.

The PSP New Hunters Pack comes in either Radiant Red or Vibrant Blue. The bundles include a specially decorated PSP-3000, a copy of Monster Hunter portable 2nd G (that’s Monster Hunter Freedom Unite for our western readers), an AC adapter, and a battery pack. The Monster Hunter franchise is one of the biggest sellers in Japan, giving Sony an enormous base of loyal PSP owners in the east.

There was no announcement about a North American or European release of the bundles, so if you are interested, you might want to import one of these packages. The bundles will be released on July 23 for ¥21,000.
