I disagree. I would say both LBP and SMG, to give two examples, look a lot better than any of those.

Most technically impressive graphics? Maybe. But not the best ones.

I know valkyria chronicles would never make a list like this but to me it's one of the most gorgeous looking games of this generation.

good list. among all the great looking games, these really do stand out as the best of the best.

Rite now, that list is 100% true, to me anyway. You can gern about your console not having it's fair share among that list, but after playing ALL of these games extensively.....this list makes alot of sense.

However there are so many games coming that will stroll into that top 5. There is Uncharted 2, Forza 3, GT5, Assassins Creed 2 (maybe), God of War 3, Heavy Rain and Splinter Cell (maybe).

its one sided because 3 out of the top 5 are PS3 exclusive? are you saying they should balance out PS3 and 360 games when they make a list of of Best Console graphics?

That top 5 graphics selection is actually quite good Selnor.

I usually disagree with your general opinion on graphics. I was never in the Far Cry 2 or currently in, the LP2 boat, but otherwise, nice list.

As for your future games though...

Tsk, tsk, tsk. Selnor, Selnor...

The current top 5 is somewhat believable (though MGS4 > ME in graphics), but how the hell do Lost Planet 2 and AC2 look better than Uncharted 2? Nothing looks better than Uncharted 2, short of Crysis.

Especially not Forza 3, which looks about on par with GT5, maybe a little worse.

Take off the goggles.
