Looks really good.

Ubisoft devs say its the ps3's halo. Hopefully it sells well enough that it stays ps3 exclusive depending on reviews. Some people thought it looked almost as good as crysis O_O

If the reviews are good and it gets the big marketing it needs, who knows.

Are those armoured guys friend or foe? If this game wants to "define" the PS3 to any notable degree, it needs a cool signature character people will know.

One of the things where Halo beats Killzone is how the former has a badass main character everyone on the planet recognises, but in the latter the kinda cool looking guys are the enemy, and you play a pretty generic shooter-dude. That works too, but nowhere near as well IMO.

There is a higher than normal chance that I'm talking out of my ass here, so feel free to ignore me. =P

 And Killzone kills Halo by having cool evil enemies not squeaky techno alians.  Cant have everything.

I hope Ubisoft didn't say that, leo-j. That's a pair of pants Free Radical cannot fill. People need to hush about making "Halo killers" and such. It's foolish. Just make a great game and let it stand on it's own.

OT: Is there no HUD for Haze? That would be interesting. The game looks good. I wonder how it plays.

They said they are direct competition to halo 3.

sales wise of course they wont be better. but game wise do they have a chance of being better than halo.. you bet they do.

 I'm sure you believe that, judging from the fact everything in your signature is about the ps3, I'd expect no less.  Let us revisit this thread in a few months and see where Haze is on gamer rankings, where sales have no meaning.  I'm sure it'll be above halo 3's 94% current rating.    :)
