This cannot bomb now can it? With bomb I consider it selling worse than the PS2 games.
I hope and think that the game will manage a 500 k + opening! My hope is that it will sell more than a million lifetime but if the game manages 700-800 k at a minimum I think it´s done ok.

I think lifetime sales would be for me:

1 million +, awesome, everything from here is a bonus.
800 k to 1 million, very good
700-800 k, good
600-700 k, decent
500-600 k, underwhelming
500 k -, BOMB

Do you agree? What´s your hopes and expectations?

Yeah, that's pretty good considering how it sold on PS2 vs PSP. Hopefully, since Wii has better online and a overall superior looking game than any previous versions it will out do the PSP versions.

I think that's more than fair.  I really want to see this game sell a million.  Once it crosses that threshold, it's a bonafide success in my opinion.  Though 800k - 1 million would be very good, I'd be a bit disappointed.  Although selling more than the PS2 verison is technically where it will be a success.  But here's hoping for a million!

I don't know about 500k first week.  But damn, that'd be awesome.

3 Million LTD?

lawl, don't delude yourself. The only game that will manage that in Japan this whole gen will be Dragon Quest X.

Well 2 games already have sold 3 million LTD in Japan.

Monsterhunter won't.  But DQX won't be the only one.

Very few 3rd party games, or games for that matter, go through this much advertsing, effort and marketing, this looks like Halo 3 US marketing in JP.
