I think that's more than fair. I really want to see this game sell a million. Once it crosses that threshold, it's a bonafide success in my opinion. Though 800k - 1 million would be very good, I'd be a bit disappointed. Although selling more than the PS2 verison is technically where it will be a success. But here's hoping for a million! 
I don't know about 500k first week. But damn, that'd be awesome.
