Im 2 hours in.

Any questions that need answered?

Quasi-spoilerish (nothing to do with story).

You get HUGE bonuses for importing a ME1 character.

How flat are the textures? Is there no AA? what about the lack of field depth and low poly count?

I'm not a graphics guy that could explain what all it does, and does not have. However, all the graphical issues that ME1 had are gone. Field of depth seems to be really good. I haven't been in enough areas to really tell how great it is, as I'm 2-ish hours in.

Damn mrstickball. You're saying it has field of depth? But some randomn guy on t'internet who doesn't own a 360 and studied the graphics by watching videos on youtube said it doesn't have any.

I'm so sorry but i'll have to go with what he says.

sry mrstickball but could you repeat the last thing you said ?
I missed it the first 6 times

Pretty great and I'm only an hour and a bit in. I have to say that the decision to go to regenerating health makes me a sad panda though.

I seemed to get a lot of resources and stuff for importing my ME1 PC character.

I got a question about the Cerberus Network. So I saw the extra content DLC list when I started the game, and the only things available for me were the Blood Dragon Armor and Crash. Is that all I was suppose to see or do things like sporadically show up in it?

Since this is the launch day maybe they haven't released the DLC for the public on Cerberus Network. What is "Crash"? Also do the pre-order bonuses appear on the Cerberus Network?

I don't really want to spoil it for anyone but I mean I guess I can say an area in France that the Allies invaded in WW2 that pertains to a ship in the game.  The crash of that.  And I don't know about the pre-order bonuses because I didn't preorder the game.  Just went to Wal-Mart and picked up the game at Midnight.

Sorry, my bad. I confused the Dragon Age bonus with the pre-order bonuses. Crash could be the DLC pack that is available at launch, I know it includes more than one mission. Can you also recruit an extra character besides the ten you already can? If yes than it is the launch DLC, more will be available at a later date.

I know there is a new DLC character available that it tells me I can get.  He could be when I actually start up that mission.  But I haven't yet.  Didn't know if he was his own piece of DLC or just part of another piece.  I guess when I finish the crash I will tell you or if anyone else knows more than I feel free to chime in.

Hi, this is Vince with Shamwow.

Going to have another 2 hours in Mass Effect soon.

I'm sticking by my 'Game of the Generation' comment. By far the best RPG I have played in my life. There's just so many nuances with the game that combine great elements from JRPGs (overworld exploration, resource gathering, item synthesis) and WRPGs.

I must say that the combat is 10x better than ME1. From the first shot I took, I realized it was much different. The heavy weaponry in the game is INSANE.

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.

I will say having played so much, this game is awesome. I absolutely love it.

Oh and Ronin what I was saying about the new character I just read this,
http://kotaku.com/5457371/mass-effect-2s-downloadable-companion-delayed
It says he's not available for 360 til tomorrow or Thursday. Guess that answers that. I thought there was some more content I wasn't seeing.

Hi, this is Vince with Shamwow.

Anyone finding the game a bit... easy?

I'm playing on Veteran and I'm about 4 hours in (got the doctor and garrus off omega) and I've only died once so far. Regenerating health means lots of situations are easily beat as you can take as much damage as you want short of dying and there is no penalty. This is pretty different from the first where you had a finite number of medigels that had a cooldown period and were necessary for healing injured teammates. They still revive fallen ones, but this streamlined arrangement has made combat quite a bit easier.
