Forums - Nintendo - Rumor: No More Heroes 2 is NOT being published by Ubisoft

After watching the interview conducted by Gametrailers with Goichi Suda (Suda 51), he took a pot shot at Ubisoft.

It concerned a mini-game concerning Jeane the cat in NMH2. He said that the minigame would be much deeper than Ubisoft's Imagine Petz games. He also went on to say he wants the game to be very successful, and not be defeated at retail, possibly voicing displeasure at Ubi's former advertising efforts.

Are Suda51 and  Ubisoft parting ways? If so, WHERE IS SUDA GOING?!?!?!

Sounds like you are trying to start a rumour where there isn't one.

No thanks.

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.

I think you're probably reading too much into it.

I did think it was funny when he said he wanted a minigame in his game to be more deep than a full retail game of the subject. Could be possible though, I really don't know how "deep" or good Petz games are.

I thought I remembered Ubisoft confirming that they would publish NMH2 at E3...

Edit: And here we go:

Ubisoft has already said they are publishing this.

Even the Rabbids make fun of Ubisoft:

... So ..... at this point this kind of things aren't a true indicator of a game not being publisher by the company that bring us ...... JAMES CAMERON!!!!!

The cat interaction in the first game was minimal, so he was bragging there, not bashing.

And since the game is getting a sequel, it was obvious it wasn't. So thinking that was a bash at Ubi, when the first game sold very well where Ubi published it, shows you didn't even pay attention to what happened.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

Plus, just for the hell of it: Kelly Brook at the 2008 BAFTAs

Ubisoft will publish it

i guess Suda wants better promotion, which is normal, since the first one had almost no ads and also blood was removed from game (except USA where it sold better)

i hope blood is in all version now....

don't mind my username, that was more than 10 years ago, I'm a different person now, amazing how people change ^_^
