@OP - They can, but it will be rated Adult Only, as should be. The issue is, consoles, no matter how hardcore, do not want to alienate the gamer family. Putting AO titles on will prevent the system from being family friendly. On the PC, the options are limitless.

while most of them are simple, many of them have deeper story(well as deep as porn game can be) - sadly most of them will remain as a pc games that will never be released outside japan(the best hentai games usually are released on consoles without h-scenes but remain as etchi games).

The difference:

  • In a porn movie, good or bad plot, you get to see the action either way.
  • In a dating sim (since that's what the OP referenced) don't you have to go through hours of bullshit just to finally score the girl and you end up seeing only a still picture?

It's not just in regards to games. In America and Australia, a movie can feature the bloody deaths of thousands and be given an M rating. But if there is even a hint of nudity then it gets rated R. Yeah didn't all the Lord Of the Rings films only get a PG-13 rating with the deaths of thousands, but had there been a shot of Liv Tyler's tits, that would have made it rated R for sure possibky NC-17.  I mean what sort of culture is this?

You're *really* exagerrating here, there are plenty of PG-13 with brief nudity.

^^^ Back in the day there used to be PG moves with brief nudity... hell, the first Superman movie showed his junk on the screen when he was till a kid!

And there will always be that shower scene from Sixteen Candles.... wait, what the hell was with all this underage nudity in PG movies back in the day?!? Shit, these days if you take a nude pic of your g/f on your cell phone and she's under 18 the FBI comes knocking at your door!

Male nudity yes, but not female nudity, i've never seen a PG-13 film with a girls tits hanging out
