It's not just in regards to games. In America and Australia, a movie can feature the bloody deaths of thousands and be given an M rating. But if there is even a hint of nudity then it gets rated R. Most other countries in the world, Europe and Japan especially give movies a higher rating for violence than they do for nudity, sex or strong language

Yeah didn't all the Lord Of the Rings films only get a PG-13 rating with the deaths of thousands, but had there been a shot of Liv Tyler's tits, that would have made it rated R for sure possibky NC-17.  I mean what sort of culture is this?

I think that's a good thing, show that to most teenage girls, and they'll probably be too frightened to have sex for a few years

 

and I checked the stats UK has less than half the amount of teenage pregnancies per thousand girls between the ages of 15-19 than the US

japanese audience - "well it's just a game, fictional stuff so who cares. it's not like someone will go out and kill people cause he can do this in video game"
