DAY: Lost count, but over 30
lb lost total: 8.3lb

Well, I finished the 30-day challenge and went to start another one. Turns out you actually have to hit restart and my last exercise was actually the last day of the 30-day challenge again. It took me a while to figure out what happened, because they were doing more complex exercises and I thought everything would reset to more basic exercises. Then it crossed my mind that maybe the game was really smart and new that I had already done everything so more complex exercises were ok. When I finished it congratulated me for finishing the 30-day challenge (without the video though) and that is when it finally clicked

I'm also down to 200lb even which is the lowest I've been since November 08. I'm averaging 2lb/week, so I've maintained my great healthy pace and I'm set to be at 180lb by 9/17/09. If I were to maintain my pace, I could be down to 170 by 10/22/09, but I don't think I want to go that low. I think I want to hit 175 at the lowest.




If you drop a PS3 right on top of a Wii, it would definitely defeat it. Not so sure about the Xbox360. - mancandy

DAY: one week later than last time, but I think the total is 37
lb lost total 9.2lb

I've been doing the 30-day challenge again, but this time on Hard Intensity. The first 30-day challenge really got me ready for this one, as I can actually make my way through without falling on the ground gasping for air as my legs burn and refuse to function properly The medium intensity used to last about 30-40 real life minutes, the hard intensity comes closer to 40-60 minutes. I'm also trying to increase my pull-up count, but since I'm trying to lose weight, I don't expect to build any muscle, so the only increase will probably be from me having to lift less weight overall.

Weight loss has been slower than when I started, but that is due to hanging out with people and eating to much. My average has dropped from ~2lb/week to 1.74 since I started, but at my current pace I'm looking to meet my goal at the beginning of October.




If you drop a PS3 right on top of a Wii, it would definitely defeat it. Not so sure about the Xbox360. - mancandy

Well, looks like I'm the only person left updating, but I'd thought I'd update anyways just for fun.

I stabbed myself in the hand and now I can't really do any upper body exercising, so I've been relegated down to walking only (and I'm not doing a lot) but somehow I've been losing more weight in the last week just eating smart than I did the previous week where I ate pretty decent and exercised every morning.

Either way, I'm down to 194.4 for a total lost of 13.9lb since I started. Once my hand heals I want to run through a 30-day challenge in 30 actual days (which I would have finished this week if I didn't hurt myself) I only have 19.4 more lb to lose and I'll have met my goal. I'm on pace to reach that in 11.5 more weeks for an end date of 10/25/09.

I want to get down to 175, and then start building muscle again. I used to lift a lot when I was younger, but stopped half way through college. Essentially I don't just want to lose weight, I want to get actually fit. Ripped would be cool, but it isn't my goal. Also, once my kid is old enough, I want to be able to set an example and to teach them to eat properly and exercise too. It is so much easier to keep the weight off, then it is to lose it.

Im a little over 100kgs and going to loose some weight with this. Its possible to do it although i am under no illusions, unlike WS and WSR, that this is a "game" i am playing. If you know this to begin with its easier to settle in.

Plank is a killer, holy shit its destroyed me.

Yeah, where is the fatty who started this? Is he now thin or did he give up?

 

OT: I need to loose weight myself. Might start a WiiFit challenge to join the fatty parade.

 

Then, we can all play Muscle March together before a round of strip poker. See people, the Wii is for real life!

I wanted to do wii fit all summer, I started alright doing it 2 or 3 times a week for 20 minutes a session for a few weeks. Then it dropped off. I really need to get into it again, I just don't eat enough living alone. Don't have the energy to get up and do it.



Ok, so I'm still suffering from my stab wound and can't really do any weight lifting with my hand, so I've been just doing long walks and that is about it. I miss doing the EA Sports challenge, but I don't want to do just squats and runs and it hurts my hand too much. I'm hoping it will be healed enough in 1-2 weeks.

Even though I went on vacation for a week and mostly ignored my diet, I'm down to 192.9 today or another 1.5lb since the last time I updated this thread. So that was 1 week of bad eating, and 1.5 weeks of good eating. I did a lot of biking on vacation though with my brothers bicycle and a lot of long walking on the board walk.

Grand Total Lost 15.4lb.
