"When Assassin's Creed was downgraded to the DS and iPhone, it became an entirely different game. The upcoming PSP version, however, looks to be sticking a lot closer to the original than its handheld competitors.

While these two screens don't really show how the game will function mechanically, they do at least show that it's a full 3D title, with Altair stalking the streets of what look to be much smaller (and for the PSP more easily-managed) medieval cities.

This looks pretty good. I certainly hope that some of the things going into AC2 are coming to this one as well, so it wont have as many of the faults as the first game had.

I'm pretty sure it's Altair. Right now, we don't know when the game takes place other than it will connect AC and AC2, so...

If the PSP looks that good, I can't see any technical reason why the Wii shouldn't get a version :P

@ shams, reworking the controls etc... and I think Sony is helping with this, they seem to be pushing it quite a lot

Anyway, if it does bridge AC 1 and 2, then this better come out in September, and why are you still playing as Altair?

looks impressive though somehow empty. i will wait for reviews cause it looks like it will be just technically dumbed down version of the first game with new story and if it's true i will stick to the second game.
