So Infamous has OUTSOLD the first week's of both R & C (established franchise released in the holidays) & Heavenly Sword (New IP's released in the going back to school season) in such a DRY time for gaming!

Very impressive.....some of you may say....well PS3's userbase is higher, but higher userbase doesn't mean always mean higher sales (Motorstorm 2).

Due to many sandbox games out on PS3, infamous wasn't the "only" one. This probably led to lower sales.

But 1 Million is pretty much CONFIRMED.....congrats SONY!

They only have numbers for the first day of EU sales too so It beat the average prediction of 200k.

A very premature thing to say, especially considering how most of us expected the sales of this game to be higher than 200k on first week but it's still a great game that deserves some great sales.

I agree that it will reach 1Million.

Also, the 180k sales wernt a full weeks worth of sales. Just 2-4 days.

Will be interesting to see how well it does on its first FULL week.

I dunno bout that, but I think most of us expected it to do atleast 1 million & its gonna do that!

Sandbox games usually have good legs........so I see a bright light at the end of the tunnel & it doesn't seem to be flickering out!

I agree ! On the long run, infamous will sell pretty darn well like most sony titles do even though they dont sell huge amounts in the first week !

As most sales are done on days 1 & 2.....but still as it wasn't a full week the game should hold up well.

Then again, I was expecting a 90k low, so I suck too.

The game was released on a friday in EU. I have trouble beliveing this game will sell triple in NA what it will in EU. Is there another PS3 game that did that? I predict 1.5-2 mill LTD. Only a flop if you compare it to Halo 3 or Nintendogs.

Well that would be a sensible prediction as we are in a really dry period in terms of game sales.

God knows why they released infamous during GCSE/A level examinations.
