Forums - Nintendo - New Wii Sports Resort Trailer shows more actual gameplay - looks good!

Omg that looked really great! :)
And finally, the planes from the early Wii-demo from years ago made a comeback! :) I've been waiting for that game, but now they're in WSR. :) Cool.
Also, cycling yay! :p

It's a Nintendo EAD game, it was always going to be full of quality. I'm just glad it's really fleshed out. So many sports but not only that, so many modes for each sport! Wii Sports Resort will be HUGE!

OMG, this video really hyped me to the roof.I want to play it now! XD

no HD version?

O_O Wow I was going to get it for the Golf, Sword Fighting and Archery alone but that... looked awesome... I can't wait now, hopefully Nintendo makes a cool commercial like that for the US to get a lot of people into it (some ads on the morning shows and Oprah will do wonders lol)

That trailer was awesome.

Who else thinks that ping-pong was originally going to be tennis, but Nintendo changed it for the sake of Sega and EA?

2:30 looks just like Wave Race 64 ... ah the memories.

man this game looks fun cant wait

@famousringo: I think table tennis shows off the Wii MotionPlus more than what tennis could have, I mean look at those slices, that's awesome!

im psyched for the air/water sports and sword fighting. This game is exceptional value but it certainly won't solve the problem of attach rates that Iwata has been complaining about.

“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.
