I like the rare but fun use of the motion controlls on the dual shock , I don't think i'd want my games to have any more than that.

No disrespect to Microsoft and Natal, but for my tastes, Sony's motion control looks more fun. I think it looks like the perfect middle ground between what the Wii offers and what Microsoft is looking to do with Natal. I want a controller(s) in my hand(s) while I play and Sony's answer will let me do that. Sony's motion sensing seems to be the "gamer's" controls whereas Natal is a very "casual" experience. Again, this is all just based on what I'm personally looking for. |
Generally yes but i think best part is with it being optional so you are not forced to use for games where traditional gamepad works better.

The only thing that impressed me was the controller's precision, that was the most impressive thing about it.

motion control can come and be a success for the 3 consoles ... fine by me... but for me my console cannot have MC as the standard control... could be a side option but not standard... i go to the gym for my workout... dont need to get tired by gaming also...

I'm not sure if you were implying anything or not... but it would be optional on all consoles.

it is identical to Wii Motion Plus, but you said noting positive when WM+ was shown, did you?
and it's not between, it's what the Wii offers (through WM+), maybe RedSteel 2 for Ps3 in the future?
don't mind my username, that was more than 10 years ago, I'm a different person now, amazing how people change ^_^
I had the eyetoy before and with Sony motion controls coming it does look like the Natal and Wiimote in one. It should be blu tooth too so I'm more interested in the Sony motion controls too.
Personally, I am not that interested in it, but the best thing is that I still get the option to play properly, and I really hope that they don't get studios like ND to work on this. I assume they will get some studios to just make stuff for it, but I don't think that they should make this more important than work on stuff just using the traditional controller
What I do want to know is what is on the controller? How many buttons and what buttons?
Do you know what's better than Natal, Sony motion controls, and Wii motion controls?? A damn controller! I love the 360 and the PS3 controllers. I have no problems whatsoever with no motion controls at all.
