Seeing how well single player plays, not to mention that multiplayer is fantastic, It does not surprise me that it got Best of Show. This looks like the year when every website will have a different GOTY, with so many great games coming out.

Mass Effect 2, Uncharted 2, FF XIII were certainly best games of E3. It's hard to say which one was best I know I'm getting all of them :D

UC2 is one of the strongest candidates for GOTY09! I hope it delivers a very good and exciting single player adventure alongside the new multiplayer modes.

I pretty much agree with that, but Mass Effect 2 suffers slightly because I did not see their new system for using power or their new system for trasport or their new Uncharted worlds system, which I thought they said we woudl see, though I do like the way that you can make choices to keep Shepherd alive or let him die SPOILER: I think the scenario they were showing was the Normandy was about to explode, and basically you could just rush for the first escape pod, or save Joker and as a result you would die, now that is a tough choice for any ME veteran

Anyway, Uncharted 2 wins out of those three because it is coming the earliest!

But, the guys at 1up actually played the games.  All I can say is that I have a lot of gaming to do in the future.  Until I saw this thread, I underestimated the amount of awesome that the near future holds.

"Buzz" and quality are very different things. How did they get that chart, anyway?
