If games don't float his boat, then that's cool. While I don't agree with what he says, as his plan to take scuba-diving is not helping the world either.A hobby shouldn't have to help the world. With that said, good for him.

It's a shame though, he may missed out on having a childhood and a normal social life.

Im sorry for him... his life will probably suck bigtimes because of the fact that he simply cant have fun :|

Vote the Mayor for Mayor!

Anything I have fun with is no waste of time to me.

"And yet, I've realized that maybe living a "decent" life means you won't ever have a "good" life."

Well if a Genius sais it we ought to listed *lists PS3 on ebay*.

In the same article he says he wants to take up scuba diving and dedicate himself to martial arts.

What a hypocrite.

Not exactly. I don't think his opinion on video games is really his, I suspect he is just regurgitating what his parents have been telling him for years when they push him hard to achieve the goals they want(don't do THAT son, that's a waste of time; just study, study, study, and maybe when you get a little bit older we'll let you participate in a hobby we approve of, like SCUBA). As others have already pointed out, if he were really a genius he would getting a more respectable degree from a more respectable institution, but in all likelyghood he is just a smart kid with really bad parents.

It's helping the millions of people employed in the video game industry.

Besides, most things don't help humanity. Sports, drama, gaming, movies, driving...

Somebody should give that kid Brain Training on DS, then when he gets addicted, destroy Brain Training and replace it with Phantom Hourglass. Then he'll be one of us!

I don't see how Scuba diving is any more productive than gaming.

Not only that, it's more expensive, more difficult, and more dangerous. And less fun.

If he doesn't watch cartoons at least, then he's DOOMED. No childhood confirmed.

Generation 8 Predictions so far.....(as of 9/2013)

Console that will sell most: Nintendo Wii U

Who will sell more consoles between Microsoft/SONY: SONY

Nothing to add here. Other members have said enough. What a sad kid.
Something tells me this kid is gonna rebel like crazy when he hits his teen years. His relationship with his parrents is not going to be a good one when he hits adulthood either, I'm guessing.

Quem disse que a boca é tua?

Qual é, Dadinho...?

Dadinho é o caralho! Meu nome agora é Zé Pequeno!
