I think there is more to graphics then just raw visual appeal. You need to factor in things like environments, the activity/interactivity of the surroundings, color palette, lighting etc.

So based on that, I'd definitely say Uncharted 2 and Assassin's Creed 2 were the most impressive for me at E3. (I didn't see much of GoW3, so can't comment on that)

I know everything about both the 360 and the ps3 because I analyzed both before I made a purchased and decided the 360 brought more to the table. Furthermore I am a fan of gaming in general.

Are you insane??? Alan Wake had a playable demo and extensive gameplay footage to show off it's graphics. Unlike GT5 that everyone is clamoring for, which had a fucking cgi video.

Heavy Rain is a freaking interactive movie, it's the most linear game this gen and therefore has a very small scale in which to concentrate all the graphics. Alan Wake is a freaking sandbox game light. It's scope is very wide. There's alot going on in the game at any one time. Would you compare GTA to MGS??? Heavy rain is comparable to channeling all your force into narrow corridor while alan wake is like dividing up all your forces in an open savannah.

I'm quite skeptical of how fun a QTE-fest like Heavy Rain will be, but with its branching storylines, it certainly won't be the most linear game this gen.

I was dissapointed in hearing the what this game is all about, i really don't think making gameplay qte is gonna be fun at all. I can't believe they were bold enough to make a game like this. When i said linear though i meant that the player has absolutely no freedom, we're gonna have the way pointed to us with big large signs every step of the way. As i wrote that post though i did notice your point, which deters it from being as linear as it could have been. Obviously the experience changes on how you use each character and which if any die. But without that it would have been top 5 most linear games ever.

One question though have played Fahrenheit/Indigo Prophecy?

I respect your opinion that you don't like the game. I just didn't like what you just said green part especially the large one. Heavy Rain might not look fun to you but from a person who played and enjoyed Fahrenheit, HR is one my most anticipated games and I am not alone. Don't claim it as facts.

Could be, but we are talking about (the PS3) catching up (the 360 ... not improving..

That is what I feel when I compare the two...

 



 

Evan Wells (Uncharted 2): I think the differences that you see between any two games has much more to do with the developer than whether it’s on the Xbox or PS3.

I was banned by VGChartz member Ausfalcon (a MorphOS advocate) at AmigaWorld, the guy who stalked me onto this forum. I confronted him with this fact there, hence the ban and deletion of my post.

As I told him, I view him as being far more malicious than some random XBox 360 fan like you.

Forza 3 has proved one thing: Tessellation is awesome! One feature not seen in any game on the Xbox 360 before Forza 3 and it completely owns. On the first real attempt they managed to get.

10* the Polygons, 4* the Texture resolution running at 60FPS. I had given up hope of ever seeing that technology used. It just goes to show that the Xbox 360 is an efficient piece of hardware and that the Xenos GPU truely deserves the distinction of being called the most advanced and best console GPU.

No, I saw the reasons for your ban.  Don't try to make yourself off as the victim.  No one buys that after everything you pull.
