GUYS I KNOW LINK ISNT GOING TO BE THAT OLD IM JUST SAYING "WHAT IF?" I KNOW THERE WONT BE A 60 YEAR OLD LINK

/Edit

well what the hell is up with characters growing old lately? , is it that developers want to test their graphical skills on old and scarred faces of their characters?

so anyways how would you imagine Link being old?

i cant imagine an old dude on an old horse saving the old saggy fart of a princess while being told what he should do over and over again

Actually they made Sam a lot more younger than he was in Chaos Theory. In Chaos Theory he was nearing 60 years old if my memory is correct, and grunted for the most basic of actions (climbing a pipe). Sam Fisher's age was the thing that made him unique, in a slew of steroid junkie young anti-heros.

In Conviction, he moves extremely nimbly, and they pushed his age to the 40's I think.

Chaos Theory had the funniest/darkest dialogue in the whole series. Start at around 1:10.

Link looks pretty much the same so I am guessing he is maybe 20 or 21 judging by the leaked artwork.

I didn't kill my wife. It was a man; he had a mechanical arm!

OT: Not such a big deal. Video games need more adult characters. Specifically Japanese games.Seems all their heroes are 15.

"Now, a fun game should always be easy to understand - you should be able to take one look at it and know what you have to do straight away. It should be so well constructed that you can tell at a glance what your goal is and, even if you don’t succeed, you’ll blame yourself rather than the game. Moreover, the people standing around watching the game have also got to be able to enjoy it." - Shiggy

A Koopa's Revenge II gameplay video

Well, as the key ppl in videogame industry (Miyamoto and Kojima) grow older, maybe it's interesting for them to experiment with adulthood of the lead game characters, they can associate better with them and transfer some of their life philosophy/questions/problems to them.
