No, he's not. They flipped it for the Wii make more sense for right-handed gamers. But in the artwork in the booklet/back of box, he's still a lefty. So this would be an update on the design.

Zelda is probably permanently right-handed (or maybe ambidextrous now that it is not just a port.)
