He is holding his shield with his left arm. Link from TP Wii version is the only right handed link ever. Or at least I think thats a shield.

No, he's not. They flipped it for the Wii make more sense for right-handed gamers. But in the artwork in the booklet/back of box, he's still a lefty. So this would be an update on the design.
