So thats more games I have on DS within its 1st week than I had on PSP in its 2 years with me!!

And as you get farther in it gets even better. Such a great game.

 

Also, if you like any 2d platforming the two castlevania titles for the DS are pretty good (OoE is very good).

Just like Aiemond, i must stress to you the recommendation of Castlevania. They're just too good. Also, if you're only on day 6 of TWEWY and you're already in love with the story and gameplay, my good man, let me just say now that it is only going to get so much better.

If you want a quick way out then the flames are far right by the dead assistant, in the lowest hut by the bridge on the island, and right to the mini-island in the northwest.

Are you into turn based strategy games? Advance Wars are very bad ass turn based strategy games.  I played the crap out of Dual Strike.  The new one has WiFi.  You should get MK:DS also.  I didn't like that a lot of people snaked online but it is still pretty fun (when I had the game I refused to do the stupid snaking bs).

Are the three best games on the system IMO. There's lots of RPGs too ... Final Fantasy III, IV and the upcoming Dragon Quest IX, you can't really go wrong.

Late but Chrono Trigger is a "Enhanced Port" just barely though. They add touch screen support that does nothing and a few extra things you wont notice here and there. Its not a remake.

This lists are huge I will just say if you like

Action - Ninja Gaiden: Dragon Sword. Game looks good but the combat works surprisingly well. You can get it for cheap its a bit repetitive but still a whole lot of fun.

SRPG - Knights in the Nightmare. Beautiful art and hard as hell. Its and SRPG mixed with SHMUP. (You read that right) Its niche and hard as hell. If you got balls to learn it the game is a must.

(You can also buy the other two games in the Dept. Heaven Series for GBA ;)

Suikoden: Tierkreis-JRPG, one of the most recent ones
Valkyrie Profile: Covenant of the Plume-once you get the hang of "sin" and combos, youll want to beat the game at least 3 times
Puzzle Quest- addicting 3-in-a-row gameplay. skulls=damage. *=exp
Etrian Odyssey's I & II- RPG that gives you an incredible amount of freedom. uses 5 chra
Advance Wars: Days of Ruin- if youve never tried an AW, you can see what all the fuss is about
Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon- first fire emblem remade. if you want to get into FE, start here
Rhythm Heaven- give it a shot! 100% of the people whove tried it try to steal my ds from me all the time.
