I agree, Mario Galaxy is not for me. The new Metroid game is awesome, and will be day one for me as well.

Im sorry no way. Nintendos conference was rather weak. No zelda = no possibility of winning. The other two had far more awesome games coming out both this year and next year. Nintendo comes in a distant 3rd.
Long Live SHIO!
I agree since most of Nintendos games were first revealed at E3.

Bet reminder: I bet with Tboned51 that Splatoon won't reach the 1 million shipped mark by the end of 2015. I win if he loses and I lose if I lost.
FF XIV and halo: reach looked okay but they didnt even compare to SMG 2 and the new metroid. sony came in a distant third, microsoft wasnt far ahead.
Nintendo basically took care of business and threw in a few nice morsels for core gamers.
They needed big titles to drive Wii sales this year ... they delivered with Wii Sports Resort, Wii Fit Plus, and NSMB Wii.
The core gamers got Mario Galaxy 2, Metroid M, Red Steel 2, etc. to keep them happy. Much better show than last year.
Sony showed a lot of games ... but no PS3 slim, no price cut, no Gow3 in 2010, looks like no GT5 in 2010 ... Nintendo got it done for the rest of the year.
you won't hear it much because of the hyperbole, but as the dust settles I expect it to become clearer and clearer that Nintendo won big time. Not the hype game, but the actual game.
Sony and Microsoft took the bait. The paradigm will shift now, it's just a matter of time.
Imo Nintendo>Sony>>Microsoft. I give Nintendo a 9, Sony a 8.8, and Microsoft an 8. If Nintendo didn't show my what seems like will be my new favorite game then it would probably be Sony. I can't wait for metroid other M though. Especially considering it has some 2.5d elements, mixed with third person, and first person. Not to mention that story wise it seems much more character focused, rather than lore focused(which is a nice mix up, but still want new games to incorporate the lore as well).
