There are those who are disappointed in that a game they wanted was not announced. This is understandable but sometimes some are understandably overzealous.

Then there are those who do not like a particular console and give it no respect. To them, the best thing for that console to do is to die. Since it refuses to do that, they are disappointed.

I agree they have fantastic support from 3rd party. I am kinda bored with the endless iterations of Mario but hey I think they do have an amazing collection for 2009.
Having said that, I wouldn't wan't to compare the Wii to the HD twins.
I believe the Wii falls into a separate category.
Really its the battle between Sony and MS that is currently running.

Yes, I'm also quite annoyed with all the complaining. At one point during the conference, I just stopped reading that thread. But I do realize that the complainers are just wii haters, because I just cannot imagine a nintendo fan being disappointed right now. Yes, no zelda wii. It's coming, we just have to wait a little longer.

And I also don't get the "too much mario" comments. People were praying for nsmb wii or mario galaxy 2 and we got both. Nintendo fans should be ecstatic.

So are we going for absolute relativism in game tastes here, or are we assuming that everyone operates according to their tastes without letting console-based biases come into play?
