Just an FYI a few other things did go on during the MS conference.  It was nearly 2 hours long.  Isnt that in itself amazing about the MS conference compared to the Nintendo conference. MS didnt present any statistics. Simple for nearly 2 hours presented content for just 1 console.  While Nintendo supporting 2 platforms presented statistics and some content.

Nintendo only presented things that would be out by 2010, not things that won't be out this gen, in addition MS didn;t show redundant stuff, like MS did with Splinter Cell which would also be shown at Ubi's own conference, in addition Nintendo didn't waste time with things like Netflix and last.fm

Ummmm...out of all the things you could complain about regarding Microsoft's press conference, is "wasting time" the right one? They moved at such a crisp pace with everything they did they was hardly time to take it all in.

Also I do believe some of the Ubi titles during Nintendo's conference were also showcased during Ubi's press conference, which is more redundant for Nintendo's conference since they came second.

No they mentioned red steel, but it wasn't showcased, no metion of Rabbids or shaun white

Really so Metroid M will be out in 2009 (They should really fix the trailer which clearly said 2010). I dont think it would be wise for Nintendo to release 2 Mario platformers this fall even if one is 2.5D and the other 3D.  EA wont show Dead Space Wii, or maybe they didnt because it is a after thought title.  The Conduit wont be show anywhere, well except at retailers in a couple of weeks.

nintendo has much more....im sure zelda, fzero, all of those are being worked out.

Microsoft has mentioned many games coming out for the system...nevertheless. We still have to wait and see how they turn out to be.....

When nintendo comes out with their games We always know it will sell more than their adversaries.....

The only game i am sure is groundbreaking from 360 would have to be Modern warfare 2 and Final fantasy even though i am not a fan of FF series...As for the others we all have to be skeptical about it....

I give the conference a 9.  If there was Pikmin 3 then it would have been 11/10 but for no Pikmin 3 it loses 2 points.

New Super Mario Bro.'s, SMG2 and the Metroid game all look really good and it was much better than last year. but what the hell nintendo? why not talk some about your 3rd party support you are finally getting after all these years? sure they high lighted 3 pretty cool titles. but only 3? why no other footage? so what if those companies are already showing those games? you need to hype that stuff! and where the hell were all those really cool looking games you showed us in Tokyo last year? would it have killed them to show Sin and Punishment 2?

also while the Microsoft show was more solid, I feel like it was over hyped. Natal looks like it could be impressive, but their trailer never indicated any games that would actually go beyond the eyetoy or hell, any other Wii minigame collection. sure maybe the racing game, but that was no Forza. and I could almost hear all the PS3 fans in america point and laugh as Kojima revealed that Metal Gear solid Rising would star Raiden. so I'd give microcsoft an 8.5

Just a little bit better than MS's conference, but I think they planned it that way. 2 new Marios and a Metroid for Wii is a BIG deal and shows they are taking the system more seriously this year than last. Also, the DS had a number of good announcements. The pulse thing, eh, we'll see I guess. At least when Nintendo announces new tech it's believable, as opposed to something like Natal (which doesn't seem like it will deliver on all its promise). The amazing thing is that in a week Nintendo is going to have another conference and we'll almost certainly be seeing more games. Clearly they are holding back because they know they can.
