Forums - Microsoft - Schappert: We’ve got the best games and all the franchises on Xbox 360

Huh, I didn't realize that Super Mario Bros. Wii is coming out to the 360 as well...

Predictions for 2009: (Right) (Wrong) (Partial)

Pokemon Gold/Silver DS Japan in September

NES colored Wii and SNES Classic Controler for Christmas

Super Role Bros for Christmas

FF Remakes announced; VII PS3 VIII 360 IX Wii

New Super Mario World November 2009

Yes they do have all the major franchises, but I rate Sony's exclusives above theirs

I am sure if Sony announced the next Halo or Gears coming to PS3 it would be a different story.

Probably not, as they will still be on 360.

I actually meant the responses of folks.

I see... appologies

Its just my opinion but THIS sort of attitude is what makes me cringe when ever i hear MS say anything. Even their conference left me cynical, as usual, and bitter that this company comes out of know where and suddenly expects to be the best of the best.

Well its not, its got alot of money but that will not ultimately secure an audience longterm. Natal is limited, very limited, by what MS can afford and its doubtful whether they can pay for the creative experience that Rare used to have and Nintendo still have.

“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.

it was pretty obvious since 2005 that they really wanted PS2 franchises on the X360, so far they it's obvious as well that they have succeeded, but it's certainly not what matters for a lot of people

the words above were backed by NUCLEAR WEAPONS!

Well they don't have Kingdom Hearts or Dragon Quest. Plus their first party is poor compared to Sony and Nintendo.

On another note, whatever will they concentrate on now? No more franchises to "steal"

They need to bolster their first party offerings, a new studio is desperately needed.

Reask has got a point people. If you disagree with anything that's positive for the 360, it means that you're a hypocritical fanboy. This is of course despite the fact that I'm a 360 fan and Scottie is a Wii fan. Ahh well, it's easier to just play the fanboy card than hear other opinions.

Who cares? They've got close to double the amount of AAA titles if we go by the average score of 90%+
