Sony would just need to step in and say "Hi, we'll release a Slim PS3 w/ BC and 120GB HDD at $299 this year. Goodbye".

#1 Nobody knew this game specifically was coming, so how was it highly anticipated? That's like me saying "Hey guys, Super Groove Monsters is coming on the 360 in two months" and M$ says it's highly anticipated even though it just got announced

Konami has declined to comment when asked whether Metal Gear Solid: Rising is coming to any other format besides Xbox 360.

Rising was announced during Microsoft's E3 conference and the press release simply said "Metal Gear Solid: Rising will be released for Xbox 360."

However, a spokesperson was unwilling to comment when asked whether the game would also be released on PlayStation 3.

MGS Rising stars Raiden of MGS2 and MGS4 fame.

This alone has me suspecting that SONY might have something absolutly huge planned for the PS3 regarding Konami.

Now that I think about it... would it be possible to have MGS5 exclusive to the PS3 with MGS: Rising entwined within MGS5 itself?

Think about it here, its plausable and you could have the entwined, multiple timeline game that many people suspsected in the upcoming Kojima Productions announcements regarding the new games.

Ahhhh shit I just excited myself hahaha

oh god. no one won anything. theres no need to be fighting. jesus each console have its exclusives right?. i dont know why do we have to see this as a war.

but i dont know i think i am starting to see a patern here. MS is kicking where it must hurts to SONY everytime. is like all they care about is to crush SONY and nothing else. in this case i am refering to the new MGS. i know they are their N1 competitor but still is kinda weird.

why do we have to fight?. i am sure SONY is going to announce exclusives tomorrow too and everyone will be happy.
