Well we all know for sales so far Xbox 360 is up, Wii and PS3 are down. Well let's look at what's really important - The Games.

Xbox 360 - 13 Games of 80% or better counting 2 Downloadable Contents

Halo Wars, Chronicles of Riddick, Red Faction: Geurilla, UFC Undisputed, Skate 2, Resident Evil 5, Street Fighter 4, Guitar Hero Metallica, GTA Lost and Damned, Peggle, Space Invaders Extreme, Fallout 3 Broken Steel, Burnout Paradise: Ultimate Box.

Wii - 14 Games of 80% or better counting 2 New Play control games

As we can all see while 360 is the only console that's improved in sales, it's had the least great games released thus far 2009. PS3 has a solid lead and has the most promising lineup still to come.

Wii is starting to improve for sure.

Using metacritc to prove a any point is pointless. In order to prove a point you must present *rational* arguments. Metacritic is no such thing. In fact it is an mere opinion and all opions are biased. Just like this OP.

If a tree falls in a forest but noone was there to witness it, did that tree fall? Its the same story with video games, if a video game gets high reviews but noone actually cares to buy it then the high score is moot really. That something like Okami got a high review score doesn't matter that much because hardly anyone actually bought it. You could say that they released something that the critics wanted but the market did not.

Nice for the PS3, and it will only continue from here.

PS3 and Wii are doing great this year in terms of exclusives. 360 trails behind as usual.

Even more so than usual, i think. For their own sakes, Microsoft had better have something exciting in store, if only for their own PR purposes.

PS3 is owning.
360 is doing terrible.
Wii is finally starting to get good games.

It should be 85%+

Yakuza is Japan only and the rest have Xbox 360 versions. Getting 1 point lower doesn't make it uncountable. Its just statistical variation and the fact that Metacritic normalises scores. Pretty even eh?
