If a tree falls in a forest but noone was there to witness it, did that tree fall? Its the same story with video games, if a video game gets high reviews but noone actually cares to buy it then the high score is moot really. That something like Okami got a high review score doesn't matter that much because hardly anyone actually bought it. You could say that they released something that the critics wanted but the market did not.
