PS3: If Gran Turismo 5 isn't coming out this year, then probably Resident Evil 5. Modern Warfare 2 is a powerful series, but it's very leg based. It won't sell enough in a single holiday season to be the highest selling game of the year.

360: Halo ODST. Even if Modern Warfare 2 beats Halo lifetime, Halo is a series with such big debuts.

PSP: Monster Hunter Freedom Unite

DS: Pokemon Platinum. Seriously, why is everyone saying Zelda?

honestly, at the moment i feel halo will be more fun, though i could easily be wrong. while i enjoyed the story mode in MW the online just left me feeling cold, more  into rainbow kinda games. Halo though not up to 2 in terms of online fun, had more to choose from, and honestly i knew more people playing it which makes it more fun.

strangely i was compelled to finnish off cod waw... though that once again i feel is far more to do going through all of it with a friend, the demo for waw left me unimpressed and i would not have picked up a copy if it had not been half priced, and was talked into it.

so sure I hope most people will buy the better game, but then which is the better game?  until i demo both ill go with halo... though its still not as good as rainbow

DJ Hero (which will be huuuuuuuuge IMO) and CoD for PS3/360 will be the big multiplat sellers.
