Heavy Rain looks interesting so far, but i will wait for reviews on it. I'll check out Alan Wake on PC as the 360 version will probably be downgraded graphically.

Altough they're both supposed to be psychological thriller kinda games, I suspect they'll still be very, very different.

To me, Alan Wake seem like more of a "small town sandbox" kinda game with a strong story element brought into it. It looks extremely promising.

For Heavy Rain, I belive that game prolly will catch the psychological thriller aspect better than Alan Wake. It to looks very promising.

But..as allways, I'll wait for the reviews to tick in before buying into anything. If I have to choose, I'll just say im more into the rollercoaster ride kinda game.

This genre is not my strongpoint, but I have to admit afther looking into Heavy Rain a bit it got me interested :D

Vote the Mayor for Mayor!

Hard to say. Both games have a ton of potential.

My vote goes to Alan Wake at the moment though, I've been in love with that game since the first trailer.

I like the graphics of Alan Wake more, but I enjoy the story for Heavy Rain

Heavy Rain, because I'm a huge fan of Quantic Dreams.

Because the soundtrack will again be awesome. Omicron had Bowie, Indigo Prophecy had Martina Topley Bird's sandpaper kisses (in the girl's appartment, when she takes a shower and see her neighbour) and some very good others. No doubt Heavy Rain will again satisfy my ears too.

Because the "death but no game over" system really makes the game replayable. And because from what I've seen in the gameplay footage of the taxidermist scene (not the short one, the 26 minutes long one), you really have a lot of (realistic and logical) ways to solve problems.

I'm probably one of the most hyped VGC members about this game. Not counting CGI. He's unbeatable.

They will know Helgan belongs to Helghasts

Heavy Rain for the following reasons:

  • It looks pretty damn sweet visually
  • It has a great style and seems to have a interesting and mature plot
  • I woudln't wana let down CGI now would I
  • I don't have a 360
  • My PC sucks

alan wake has me more interested, but i will buy "heavy rain" because i now only own a ps3 .

I loved Fahrenheit/Indigo Prophecy, and Heavy Rain looks even better. I don't know much about Alan Wake.
