The new look is a mixed bag for me. It's visually stunning, while impossible to view on my iPod Touch (which I use to surf the site quite often)... I'm hoping the css/Javascript change improves this. Also great to hear that the bandwidth/processor requirements should be less. Many people are moving to mobile platforms (it appears to be a solid trend), so I'm glad this is being considered.

The front page is *very* densely populated... perhaps once I'm used to it I won't have as much trouble finding content.

Regarding 1280 width displays... this is largely true. However, having a 1280 pixel-wide display and setting one's browser window to that width are two different issues. I run at 1280x1024 on my home system, but I tend to keep my browser window at less width so that I can conveniently reach some of my commonly used desktop icons. Most Mac and PC users I know do this.

I just realized why the thread titles are in different colors. I'm a little slow sometimes. This is a good idea and I like the way that it looks.

Is it possible to add, how many comments you can see on 1 page in News and Weekly Charts pages?
I mean, now is only 10 per page, can it be optional between 10-100 per page like on forum?

Also, will there be brought back Top10 most popular games and New Releases this week?

Once you get used to something, it doesn't bother you anymore (that's the case with most things), the bigger problem is the reaction of new users who may be turned off by information overload.

The new releases box was completely useless. It just showed the next 10 games in alphabetical order that were going to release on that day. What sucks is that most of them were games people on this website are not interested in at all.

So, inFamous comes out next week, but 10 games starting in the a-in range are before it. You'd never see it on the list. Also, we have the news articles every week and the release dates link under the games tab.

I'm starting to get used to the new design and the new placements for things. So that's good.

But I still cannot find the 'search site' button. It wasn't really working very well before VGChartz 2.0, but at least there was a search option for the forum. Now I cannot find any. Is it gone, or is it just me that cannot find it?

And thanks for no longer having the top bar as flash. Makes my browsing the site much easier.

Is the new menu supposed to cover some of the other content? It reaches slightly into the banner and the control panel below it.

Are there any plans for a possible option to change skins?

I can understand it not being an urgent issue at the moment but it should be quite feasible and just allowing the inverse of the current colours will make a lot of people quite happy.

Personally I don't mind the current scheme, old one might have been slightly nicer but neither causes too much pain on the eyes for me.
