Forums - Microsoft - In all honesty The Xbox 360 controller is annoying

I disliked mainly it being too big for my girlfriend (soon to be wife ) to enjoy and the asymmetrical stick lay-out.

I used rechargeables, looking back it was a bit cumbersome having to worry about this. But I was usually the only one playing the console, so I always had a spare controller to switch to.

PS3 vs 360 sales

360 pad uses any AA batteries, rechargeables or not and are easily replaceable.

Im guessing the battery pack in the PS3 controllers is a pain in the arse to replace if it goes wrong in anyway.

I completely agree with thread. Aside from battery issues (I don't have em), the 360 controller has got to be the most ugly and uncomfortable controller since the Xbox 1 controller.

Ugly and uncomfortable? lol

Uncomfortable ? Mouahaha ! What a troll ...

Evan Wells (Uncharted 2): I think the differences that you see between any two games has much more to do with the developer than whether it’s on the Xbox or PS3.

because, ofcourse, noone is actually allowed to find the 360 controller uncomfortable right? It's called having an opinnion dude...the 360 controller is the most fraud controller since Xbox 1. I stand by that completely.

@Voty2000 - I'm going to assume you did not read the OP because it has absolutley nothing to do with the D-Pad.

also the controller switches itself off if you leave it idle for 10 mins

Hmm? so does the PS3 one.

If the D-Pad wasn't utter crap, I'd be prepared to declare the 360 controller the greatest console controller ever made.

I've never had any of the issues mentioned by the OP.

I would say the controller lasts about 30 hours on rechargeable AA's.
But it all depends on what batteries you buy, or low long those rechargeables will still work .

And that's the only thing I need is *this*. I don't need this or this. Just this PS4... And this gaming PC. - The PS4 and the Gaming PC and that's all I need... And this Xbox 360. - The PS4, the Gaming PC, and the Xbox 360, and that's all I need... And these PS3's. - The PS4, and these PS3's, and the Gaming PC, and the Xbox 360... Bet reminder: I bet with Tboned51 that Splatoon won't reach the 1 million shipped mark by the end of 2015. I win if he loses and I lose if I lost.
