if you are talking technicality then your right there is not but there are names that are more common in one country or area than other hell they are only used in that country.
look at the common names in the western Arabic world and then look at the names in the east you will without a doubt see a large difference. It goes back to highwaystar101 example about Europe which was accurate really

well if we are talking about Soriku's name here then it's not derived from the Arabic language it's actually a Egyptian Christian name who are a minority in Egypt (10% of the population) and the name has been used far before the Arabs came to Egypt but if you are talking more generally then most of them are but still my point stands, some names can be associated to certain country or culture.
I think it's safe to say that we pretty much changed this whole thread is all about :p
