I don't see any blue, red or green, just lots of orange. And if orange on black hurts your eyes, you should probably go see an optician...

Keep it simple. Thats the number 1 rule while making sites.

Even tho I know you guys worked hard on this, but you must remember that you shouldn't fall for easiest trap while making sites:Make it that it looks cool. Remember what kind of users come here, old and new ones. I myself have fallen on this...I study websites (php etc) on school.

And you should compare sites to this, like gamespot where its very easy to read since there are for each console each sites, and earlier version of vgchartz is much better.

Hey, I said when I "analyze sales".  I meant on the sales chart.  ;)

Also small things need to be changed.  Like when u click on the random sales week it will say worldwide even if it is japan only.  But like i said, these are small things, they need to deal with color scheme first, so ppl enjoy coming to this site.

actually, It always brings you to the world wide charts, so technically it is always the world wide top 10. The only time it is Japan only is when we don't have data for the other regions. The world wide charts page isn't really smart enough to know if it has data from all 3 regions.

Anyways, it isn't exactly a trivial matter, but it would be cool if it was smart enough to tell us the correct region if only 1 exists (most likely japan). I guess going by date would be a good indicator. Previous to x is Japan only, past x is world wide.

After playing around on the site I've found some cool things that I like, so I'm going to give a bit more feedback than my previous responses

The new sales charts on the homepage, both weekly and total, especially the whole giving the top 10 thing

I dislike
The comments being in reverse chronological order (although it seems I am outvoted on this)
The lack of the my recent posts on the homepage. Is it possible to include the code for both, and let us choose to display it at the bottom if we want. Just ignore aesthetics and tack it on somewhere and then make it so that we have to change our preferences to display it. Everyone wins

The lack of the 'upcoming releases' bit from the homepage, that was really good. Again, can we have it as an option? even if you don't want to clutter up the homepage for everyone

As to the colour scheme, I'm still undecided. I think it looks more like other websites, but I'm not sure if I like it or not

One glitch I just noticed while browsing through some old threads.

Where kind people have carefully concealed spoilers by making them black text on black background, the change in text colour has unspoilered them all.

Not good news. But I'm not sure that there is any easy fix except by running some sort of conversion exercise.

However, now a couple of days have gone by I'm kind of getting used to the refurb.

Thanks for reply.  Sorry didn't read all the posts.  My recent threads show up in my profile (list of them, not side tab that shows when you have a new reply to thread).  So pretty much I have to visit other threads to see if the last threads were replied to since that tab isn't on my profile page or the home page.  Not that big of deal and I think I saw you state that you are adding the side tab back to the home page.

Is it possible to change the color scheme? I am not liking these Halloween colors at all and another small complaint is that my Wall is now located under my Games Collection and Photo section instead of being under my friends list.

I enjoyed minimal scrolling to reach my wall posts and/or to post on a friends wall. It is kind of annoying now needing to scroll down much further.

Sorry, I know this thread was originally meant for bugs, etc... but something about this new look really turns me away from the site now.
