The coop play is a MAJOR reason for it selling that much.

The controls are impossible.

You can't turn while attacking, while attacking the monster knowck you over.....argh its so frustrating

Oh and one more thing: tough I agree that some may think the gameply suck but the Audio-visual presentation is great... the graphics are amazing most of the time ;)

Let's face it... PSP controls are a complete nightmare!!!

Nevertheless, the game is awesome ;)

I'm sorry but they are right, your just too softcore, you should probably stick to something casual like Gearz or Bioshockz or somethingz.

It's a good game, the PSP versions control pretty well compared to the Ps2 versions.

I saw that there is a sprint function.

Also, what do you mean turn while attacking? 

And, you knock the monster over too if you hit it good, and it's bigger than you. Must be frustrating for it too :P.

Seriously though. The game isn't for everyone. I expect several threads similar to this when MH3 comes out.

The US is really weird and gross if you kinda think about it. You just have to remove yourself almost and objectively(not best word?) think about the things we do, and what's in our media. If you look at the Mad World commercials, or MGS4's intro they think our TV's pretty fucked up too. I don't think Japan has people selling Shamwow or Extenz. That doesn't mean they don't have their share of weird infomercials and weird shit. If you think about it 2 girls 1 cup was a mainstream phenomenom... and a really sick one if you think about it (there's so many reaction videos on youtube). A lot of commentators on America's society was really critical about we the people. Edit: I know I sound really anal, but please use JPN next time.

Yes, you're a human obviously but I think you should understand that not all people share the opinons and taste that you have. Maybe the game was to hard for you? Or maybe you just don't like games like that.
