As I already said in this thread I think you are believing in a convenient fairy tale here. Whatever eases your pain, pal.

Actually as a gamer I support games that interest me no matter who makes them, which is why Sony's plattform is my system of choice this gen.

@ Mirson )
you said you hated "Sony fanboys" and now I know why, lol - because you give them enough fodder to jump you and feed on you

It's been more than 2 years now since Sony released their behemoth and for about the same time we know, that most of Sony's PR was .. well, PR, but you still cling to your disappointment, that it isn't what you expected it to be? Time to let go, don't you think? Or is bearing grudges fun? I don't really understand people like you.

Sorry, but i don't let criminal acts go unpunished so easily.

Sony only got in to the gaming business for profit, sony looked down upon gaming until ken "thief" kutaragi came along and stole hardware and software ideas from nintendo that sony could exploit.

By all means, take pride in supporting a "corporation" who initially had no talent whatsoever in the gaming department.

And also take pride in the fact that you contributed to the downfall of a company who have had gaming roots in their blood for many decades.

Real gaming talent

vs

Corporation who buys their success.

I'll take option A thanks.

dude you seriously belive other companies got in for a different reason? lmao.

I'm very disappointed with Sony. I mean, I was expecting the best and most powerful machine on the market today yet a lot of multiplats are inferior, and the PS3 has been losing its big exclusives. Sony lied. This is how it all started. It's an informative segment.

Wow, thats some interesting stuff right there. Im glad I never watched that at the time.

Tease.

@ Ronster316 )

that is interesting - now please explain how I contributed to "Segas downfall"

and I take pride in being able to decide for myself which games I find interesting and worth buying, which sadly lately are only few Sega games, because the general quality of their titles has drastically gone down since the Saturn/Dreamcast days, athough I have to add, that they still produce some real gems

The best games ever made on a sony's consoles were NOT made by sony (ie MGS, FF, Tekken, Resi evil, KH, crash ect)

The best games ever made on a Sega's consoles WERE made by Sega (ie Sonic, Shenmue, JSF, Virtua fighter, Daytona USA ect)

You see a pattern developing here? or shall i spell it out?

Sony are a company who PAID for thier best games to be on their console (ie somebody MADE those games for them)

Sega CREATED their own success on their consoles.

Sony are like a damn reality t.v. star........ (didn't earn their way in to gaming just like reality stars didn't earn their fame)

Sega are like Robert de niro, Al pacino and James woods all rolled in to one ( ie earned thier way in their business)

answer: pathetic human beings who were not real gamers (if didn't own a PS2) and or still don't own a HD console today.

Didn't it occour to you that Sega's slow demise at the hand's of sony led to some of Sega's top gaming talent leaving them?

Where's Yuji naka?

Yu suzuki?

Sega were literally broke a few years ago, so wasn't it inevitable that some of their top talent would move on because Sega no longer had the money to make big butget titles such as shenmue?

Sony have money to burn because they are like a vulture, always praying on company's who are less fortunate than them.

Sure, some of Sega's top franchises are no longer the force they once were.

But with less money to spend and a lot of their top talent gone is that really that much of a suprise?

whats the difference? sega paid developers, sony paid developers, both companies came to the industry to turn a profit
