I think a lot of the haters steam from how cocky and over confident Sony was at the PS3 launch. Promising everything and delivering half will leave people with hard feelings. Not to mention the gargantuan price tag it had.

I wouldn't call myself a hater but I did feel a bit pissed at the PS3 launch. I had to get a second job afterall to get my PS3. :(

what? wern't there 45 million people who did'nt have a ps2? just cause you're happy with your ps3 doesn't mean everyone will be. I had a ps2, i'm not getting a ps3

I fell what is perceived as PS3 hating has far more to do with the bull people have put up with from sony as an entity over the past 5 year, i know thats why im more critical of them now, had far less to do with gaming and far more to do with ever other product i bought out side of gaming from sony broke failed to meet exceptions, tried to explode on me. and for a few unfortunates installed a horrid root kit on their computer .... that and sonys marketing and PR control has been crap

oh and every one like to see a giant fail ... its like MS with the zune its so goddamn funny
