In the end, it's all about opinions. Eurogamer were also the ones who gave Noby Noby Boy a 9/10, which is also pretty "out of the norm", so to speak. Noby Noby Boy currently has a metacritic score of 74.

There are pleeenty of ppl with the full game already and besides a few technical issues here and there, the game is really good. I have yet to read somebody with the full game say that the game is mediocre, or average.

I'll take a wild guess and say nobody here as played it, have you? and since when was a 7 medicore???

Just because it is the same site does not (=) same reviewer. I have seen these type of numbers posted numerous times regarding games when people disagree with the ratings. "That site is complete bias, they gave (insert game here) a 10, they must be sucking MS/Sony's #$%&"

Halo 3 metacritic average is 94, GTA4 is 98.......so the average is closer in line with the 10's given. Do both games rate 10's.....no (IMO). Havnt played a game worth a 10 this gen yet (havnt bought MGS4 for my PS3 yet....so calm down Sony fans). I will post my PS3/game review once I have had more extensive playtime with the system and games. Halo 3 multiplayer is amazing but I would still rate the game between a 9.2-9.5 for me. I cant intelligently comment on GTA IV because I do not like the genre.

Sometimes games really do deserve the 7 and 8's they receive.

I still plan on getting Infamous for my PS3 so it is not a loss when reviews bring it down into the 80's. Some of my favorite games this Gen have high 70's-80's averages.....Halo Wars, Valkyria Chronicles, Lost Odyssey, ect.

Well I did/ and still am playing the Demo, and come 26th of May, I will be playing the real game. When I Play the real game, and I formulate my absolute opinion on it, I assure you it will be nowhere near what Eurogamer put it. Thats just it. Eurogamer's reviews are not what people in general think of the game when they play it most of the time, which makes their reviews nonesense most of the time.

From just playing what I have in the demo alone this game could be nothing less than a 8.9, everything else is biased dribble.

Not really surprise at this. As if, this will change my thoughts of buying it.
It's very sad when gamers rely too much on game reviews. Sometimes you need to do your own research and if there's a demo try it. Because you might have missed a game that you will truly enjoyed.

Actually I was a little wrong, they gave it a 5, but remember a 5 from edge means 7.5 from IGN. (but a lot of people don't know edge uses a different scale, so it is funny when a meltdown happens because of it.

I also thought the demo for Wolverine was really good, certainly the full game must be extremely good as well. Oh, wait...
