Am a huge fan. Ueda is the only other developer in the world that is of Miyamoto's calibre, IMHO. Playing these games gives me the very 1st feelings again when I palyed my earliest games that got me into gaming in the 1st place. Special and rare!

nice movie, its very cute.
Looks more like a type of baby gryphon (griffin) similar to those used on many knight crests and on shields like this.
Notice the feet wings and horns also the way the tail behaves is similar to a cats tail rather then a rats tail which doesnt move like that nor does a dogs.
Oh come on people. Don't defend the fucking rat. It's probably a placeholder anyways.
Seriously, I know you guys love Team Ico games and all but there's no reason to defend something like this. It's not like it's a game-crushing thing bug or something. It won't ruin the game.

^I think Oniichan and the one above are right. Now seeing those pics it does look like a griffon of some sort.
I just noticed the weird fish fin on it's back when it was diving under water. It's tail is really scrawny, not scaly like a lizards tho. Very rodent-esque. Yet It must be a Chimera/Griffon of some sort in it's infant state.

If it is a griffin which everybody knows, then it is an eagle/cat mix. It still could be a simargl which is a mix of a dog and bird, sometimes peacocks. Anyway, look how much it has us excited!
