Forums - Nintendo - I am a wii owner now!

Yeah, Esa, at least try out SMG. I mean, I'm a huge Nintendo fan/supporter, but I've at least given Sony a chance (heck, I own a PS2 and a couple dozen games). It's only fair if you do the same. :p

side note: You don't really have anything of any level of quality other than SMG, Wii Sports, Wii Play, or Wii Fit, though. You won't get much out of those games, but if you ARE to sell them for the greatest degree of profit possible, you'll want to list them on eBay or Amazon.

So you made a topic about being a Wii owner

Just to brag about being able to sell all of these games, including the most-loved game on the console

Nordlead is this a troll thread yet?

Selling his games is a good thing. If he kept it he would have just pirated all those games, the same way he did for the DS.

I haven't heard anything about this. It intrigues me!

Elaborate, please!

I saw the avatar, and wii in the title, and knew it was a troll thread.

If you have zero interest in even trying Super Mario Galaxy before you sell it, you have zero interest in fun and zero interest in games. If given the opportunity to play a game, I'd play it. Any game. I like games and fun.

He claims to be "one of us now" and then immediately follows it up by saying Galaxy isn't worth his time and he's going to sell it? ROFL.

There was a DS thread he made and when we recommended games for him he managed to try them all really quick. In fact his sig said he owned like 180+ DS games or something. He then gave obvious hints he was pirating everything.

lol. Well, I've been known to pirate a bit myself, but that's mostly just when I can't get ahold of said game by any legal means (old SNES games etc.)

Not gonna judge him all that hard, but that's kinda mean to everyone who postd in his thread, then.

Still, people pirating games that companies can profit on are ****ing stupid. I mean if you emulate like old SNES games or something I don't consider that pirating at all.

Well besides that he's also a well known troll. So of course he'd get bashed.

Quite. I agree on both points.

Making a thread like this may be trolling if I could look into his mind, but at its face there is absolutely nothing wrong with this thread assuming he has actually traded his old speakers for a Wii and a ton of games. Like others I will implore you to try out the games before selling them, but if you are adamant then oh well. Your loss.

...

It's not possible to pirate on the Wii like you can on the DS. Don't have to worry about that one, fellas.

The Wii CAN be pirated, but it's difficult. It requires you to have certain Wii firmware, it requires you to use certain games to do the hacking process, and it requires you to install certain types of homebrew that will unlock the Wii to being able to play pirated games. Since having the right Wii firmware is a necessity, and you can't just pick and choose which firmware you have, chances are Esa won't be able to do it, period.

side note: I HAVE hacked my Wii, but I use that only to play SNES and GEN games. It's a wonderful time playing Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 on a classic controller. Feels more "true" to the series than a 360 gamepad. Anyways, even if I wanted to pirate Wii games, I can't. Takes too stinking long to download 5GB torrents with my Internet connection, and I can't even get the DVD player hack to work, so there's no chance I'd be able to get the pirated game hack to work.

Some people don't like Super Mario Galaxy (take Soriku for example). Maybe he just wants RPG's and such. Also, as Soriku posted, he is known to pirate so maybe he just figures he'll pirate Super Mario Galaxy. Either way, this isn't trolling.

If you drop a PS3 right on top of a Wii, it would definitely defeat it. Not so sure about the Xbox360. - mancandy

I sure hope both you and nordlead never ever complain about any money related issues in front of me.

Either of you are forgiven if you use them outside your homes (like if you are a DJ or something)

A quality sound system is an investment that you continue to use for 30+ years. A quality speaker will sound good for decades before it finally fails, so I have no problem investing in a system that costs $3k. In reality, the speakers I bought were on closeout because the company was moving on to the next model so I picked mine up for over $1k off normal retail with the full manufacturer guarantee and everything.

Oh, and what I bought is considered medium range quality. If you move to higher quality you can spend over $1.2k per main speaker, and over 2k for a sub-woofer.
