If PS3 was only selling half of 360 they you got a serious problem, but right now PS3 is just fine Sony does not have to do anything.

there going to have 2 bundles in EU in a few weeks that should help

the real concern would be for the 360 i would have never thought that at half the price it would only outsell the ps3 by 11k im mean the ps3 still can go to 300$ and still has plenty of HW moving games to come out

What's to do? nothing. This is a slow season for everything, even the 360 with its great affordability and features comparable to the PS3 ones (better here, worse somewhere else) is doing badly.

Reveal the slim at E3 for $300, release it later that week. Or maybe even later in the year, it's not like they absolutely have to do something right now because the 360 is struggling to outsell it at half the price.

What an awesome thread this was. Wish i was here from the start.

Anyway, they need to use a lot more advertising, and get the Slimline PS3 out on the market.

Anyway, it`s not sprint competition, it`s a long run marathon, so if PS3 at some point sell less, than 100k, it`s not big deal, at current economical situation + being the MOST EXPENSIVE console on the market.

I wonder, what M$ will do, when at current prices, PS3 and x360 are selling on par... Then, when PS3 gets a pricecut, what will M$ do?
Another money sucking pricecut? I think, M$ investors will be pleased. =))

p.s. PS3 is selling for 400$ for almost 2 years, while x360 had pricecut just around half a year ago...

p.p.s. Anyway, Amazon made a little pricecut on PS3 models in NA this week + Europe got a bundle http://vgchartz.com/forum/thread.php?id=72416 last week, and gettting one more next week,
so you can expext some boost in PS3 sales. =)
