The Dreamcast is underrated.

i mean, seriously MS takes all credit that Sega did ages ago with their Dreamcast.

The basics of the capitalistic marketmodel:

consumer > buys and sells in a global market > more demand > increased price

> less demand > lower price


How does Sony sell more? two solutions:

1) Increase demand for it's product.

2) Lower the price to attract more demand.

In a financial context, they are the same. The PS3 offers a very good deal for its price. I think most VGchartz users agree on that. The public doesn't agree at all. To them it is too expensive. The message of a good electronics deal falls on their deaf ears. Since they are the consumer, it is both underrated and overpriced in their eyes. And Sony can't convince them of the opposite.
