In a financial context, they are the same. The PS3 offers a very good deal for its price. I think most VGchartz users agree on that. The public doesn't agree at all. To them it is too expensive. The message of a good electronics deal falls on their deaf ears. Since they are the consumer, it is both underrated and overpriced in their eyes. And Sony can't convince them of the opposite.
