I can't protest the death of an innocent person if I uphold the punishment of a guilty person?  That's hardly hypocritical, and it's a misrepresentation of the anti-abortionist stance.

The term "Pro-life", as it is most commonly used, is referring to anti-abortion.  You're taking it too literally.

On another note of the sheer dumb hypocrisy. People keep going on and on about orphanages and adoption etc. Yet they rather be seen dead than pay taxes to support such institutions.

I'm sure I'll come up with more examples to cause some serious cognitive dissonance in people the more time I have to actually think about it.

In India and China girls are systematically being aborted and recently it was detemined that it is legal in Sweeden to abort children based on their sex ... Down's Syndrome children are being aborted in every country in the world, and in the near future (if there is a genetic link between homosexuality and a test is developed to test for it in the womb) homosexuals will start being aborted simply because they are gay.

It's the capitalist's position that these institutions and the economy at large could be better funded through private means.  That's what you should be criticizing.
