It's definitely a move in the right direction, but if they really want to get the casuals' attention, they need to pay a guy to stand there and jangle his keys at them. Then it would be "Good bye, Wii!" for sure!

No, no, still not enough. When someone comes into the store, point a laser pointer right in front of their feet. Then lead them back to the bright jingling display following the little red dot.

that isn't casual enough.  You need to install huge spotlights that will blind people as they walk in, and then have people tackle them to the ground and then force people to buy 360's.  Then, we they have bought their 360, give them each a $1000.  Thats how you capture the casual audience :)

what the hell is this? Zune is NEVER going to compete market share wise with the ipod and that is the real competition for this product.

This is not remotely close to a MS game/console subject.

“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.

Zune ready to dominate the console war?
